Lawyer graduated from Dr. José Matías Delgado University and has a Master in Intellectual Property at the University of San Carlos Guatemala. Carmen is a recognized specialist in Industrial Property with an emphasis on patent law and in particular Sanitary regulatory issues related to the Pharmaceutical Industry.
With a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Central America, since 2002 has served as Executive Director of the Association of Pharmaceutical Industry of El Salvador INQUIFAR-participating in the negotiations of Free Trade Agreements on behalf of American Pharmaceutical industry. She also served since 2010 as Executive Director of the Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries of Central America and the Caribbean FIFCCA.
